T minus 8 weeks (or so)

We haven't been great about taking pictures of LBA from the outside--really it's this one taken this past weekend and one slightly questionable one New Year's Eve day.

But we're a third of the way to have the three most important things--the crib and mattress being the first part (thanks Mom and Dad!), but still no car seat or diapers in the house. Yet.

Next to the crib, you may notice a fashionably color coordinated rocker glider. It's another Craig's List success story. Joanne said she was OK with using our Poang as the rocker. It has a fairly small rock and a low seating position, so despite my appreciation for her frugality, I wasn't quite sure that was the best option. A couple of weeks ago there were 3-4 ads on CL for Dutailier glider rockers. The blue one was the most expensive, but it came with a second set of pads and it was blue. I called the number, spoke with Dan and he said he would send me some more pictures since they were in North Scottsdale. Got the pics the next morning, and shockingly, they were from a top ten ranked Sudoku player's sister (unrelated, said Sudoku player is on the squad this year in Goa, India). That was a surprise.

Birthing classes start in two weeks, and run 4 weeks, so LBA better not be a Little Bit of an early Arriver. Joanne may or may not agree with that sentiment by the end of March though...
