Just last week a lady that I carpool with said; "I don't know how we got anything done back then." This was in refrerrence to the pre-computer era. It's amazing to think how much more productive we can be today and then to ponder whether we'll have the capacity to be even more productive in the future. Another carpooler said that we won't even come into work in ten years. I think that computers will continue to take the form of handheld devices but people will still go to work.
